Susana Lopez, Ed.D., LPC

Dr. Lopez is licensed as a professional counselor (LPC) and has practiced for 16 years. Her experience was attained from a variety of settings including a faith-based counseling center, an educational enrichment program for youth, and inpatient and outpatient communities. She has worked for for-profit and nonprofit agencies and offers EAP and Victim Compensation services.
She earned a Doctor of Education in Counseling Psychology. Dr. Lopez completed her doctoral practicum at the Denver County Jail offering, individual and group therapy, and psychological testing. She obtained experience at the Boulder Institute for Psychotherapy and Research gaining further practice and knowledge in psychodynamic theory, attachment and neuroscience. She taught as an Affiliate Faculty member for the Clinical Mental Health program at Colorado Christian
University.
Dr. Lopez’s faith is foundational in all areas of her life and a lifelong learner. She enjoys spending
quality time with family and friends, hiking and a good cup of coffee!
